What happens at night: Interesting DIY for little children
I wanted to surprise the children, so we created an gluing activity, which I named “What’s happening at night”. The principle is easy, for children extremely interesting because they have never done anything like this before. In this article you will find inspiration on how to create a night picture.
What we made
We created night picture “What happens at night”.
Suitable for: 3+ years old
This craft is suitable for children from 3 years old. Maybe it can do it also two-year-olds. Thist craft requires a lot of patience.
All you need
- Gray, yellow and black paper
How to do it
From the black paper I cut out a rectangle like an apartment building, a family house, a small car, boy and girl, clouds, bats and a street lamp. From yellow I made the moon, the windows and the lamp light. From the gray I cut out the windows.
The children started gluing very slowly. First I showed them what the picture should look like. Gradually, we glued individual parts of the picture together step by step.
The large areas were painted by the children themselves (huge building, family house). I helped them with gluing the lamp and bats.
I wish you a lot of fun. 🙂
