DIY Spring flowers in a vase (from a straw, toilet paper rolls)
The children made flowers in a vase for their grandmother. Bonding was more difficult for them, but they were excited about the result. Not to. We made flowers in a vase from an ordinary roll of toilet paper, paper straws and colored paper. In the article you will find inspiration on how to do it.
What we created
We created a vase from a toilet paper roll. From colored papers, double-sided flowers, which Martínek glued together. Before gluing, he inserted paper straws between the flowers. Bonding is suitable for children from three years. At the age of two and a half, Filka had something to do with gluing. He managed to decorate the vase well, but it was quite difficult to make flowers for him.

What you need
- Toilet paper roll
- A piece of stronger paper (I took a box of vitamins)
- Adhesive tape
- Colored papers
- Paper straws
How to do it
First I prepared a roll of toilet paper. I glued the bottom to one side, which I cut out of the vitamin box. Martinek wrapped the rolls in colored paper.
I cut out small hearts and also larger flowers from colored paper. I created red tulips, white and pink flowers and also yellow Wednesdays. The children decorated the roll with hearts. A flower vase was created.
Yellow mids stuck to the yellow and pink flower. Martínek and I pressed straws on one side to make it as cheap as possible. Martínek painted the flowers with glue. He placed a straw on one half and placed the other, the same, half on the flower.
He applied enough glue to hold the straw. Finally, I cut the straws to fit the vase and the creation was done.
I wish you a lot of fun. 🙂
