Martin very much wanted to make a cap worn by a clown. We took colored paper, glue and handkerchiefs and made clown caps in our favorite colors. Martin likes purple, Filip blue. In the article you will find a tip on how to do it.
Suitable for: 2,5+ years old
Glueing is suitable for children from two and a half years. Together we made a paper cone, I also prepared wheels and hearts for sticking. They managed to decorate the cones themselves and were very happy with the gluing.
What you need
- Color paper
- Handkerchiefs (instead of pompons)
- Thin rubber band
The hardest thing is to make a paper cone (I used the classic A4 format). Once you roll it up and stick it, nothing harder awaits you. From colored paper she prepared wheels and hearts, which the children adorned with cone. Martin made two paper handkerchiefs into balls, which I attached to the tip of the cone. I cut the cone to make it nicely straight.
Then the children started gluing. Decorating the cap is not as easy as it seems, but gluing enjoyed them. Finally, you can even attach a thin rubber band to hold the head well. 🙂
You can also make the cap at a children’s party. Children entertain themselves and create beautiful decorations that they can wear everywhere with them at the party.
PS: The biggest fun is to put the cap on my head. 🙂
I wish you a lot of fun. 🙂
